i made this dress with another newlook pattern

this one was for my graduation

i also made a petticoat to go under it to

give it that 1950s look that i adore so much

the petticoat was made with cream tulle with velvet polka dots on it, and also used this to make the brooch

i made this dress back in september.

it was a newlook pattern which i altered to incorperate the slit in the front and they tie. the original pattern was just a straight neck band

This is the dress i created for my 1950s themed 21st birthday party this year. its blue dupion silk from centrepoint fabrics and a vogue pattern
